NB-IoT Park

NB-IoT Park

The NB-IoT Park was developed in partnership with Kiunsys - www.kiunsys.com - and uses NB-IoT technology to communicate with the data collection centre in the cloud. NB-IoT technology is the evolution of the LTE (4G) standard, ideal for applications such as Smart Metering, Smart Lighting, Waste Management, Smart Agriculture and, indeed, Smart Parking.

The NB-IoT Park has both a magnetometer sensor and an ultrasonic sensor within the same product, and detects the presence of a vehicle or object in the parking area being monitored.

The software installed enables auto-calibration and, thanks to the intelligent use of the two sensors, can detect objects, even non-metallic ones, obstructing the use of the parking area.

The NB-IoT Park thus enables objects obstructing the space to be detected, such as snow, refuse, bins, leaves, objects placed to wrongfully reserve the space, etc.

The NB-IoT network enables the sensor to send the free/occupied status of the parking area straight to the cloud platform, without using the gateway.
